Tikun believes that a Judaism that relates to people where they are at is what is needed. It shouldn’t be outdated, it should be fresh and vital; it shouldn’t be ritualistic, it should be spiritual; it shouldn’t be boring, it should be relevant.
We focus on nurturing Meaningful Judaism, Wellbeing and a Better World.
We accomplish this through many facets of sharing:
We focus on nurturing Meaningful Judaism, Wellbeing and a Better World.
We accomplish this through many facets of sharing:
- WhatsApp groups sharing inspiration including '48 Ways', 'Elul Videos', 'A Thought for the Week', and the 'Mean What You Pray' group.
- We publish books and booklets to help individuals with their spiritual growth and wellbeing. This includes 'Why Bad Things Don't Happen to Good People' on understanding human suffering, 'Mean What You Pray' on making Prayer more meaningful, The 'High Holydays Prayer Companion' booklets to help make the High Holydays more meaningful, the 'Bris Booklet' and 'Shiva Companion' to help attendees to these occasions better understand the moment.
- Tikun shares a thought for the day called the 'Daily Davar' (via newsletter signup and social media platforms) which gives individuals a moment every morning before starting their hectic day to pause and reflect on something meaningful to take with them throughout their day.
- The 'Weekly Davar' goes out as well once a week, which provides readers with a meaningful thought on the parsha to reflect on.
- Tikun has a YouTube channel where we host videos of Jewish education and inspiration.
- Our podcast "Better Call Shaul', is a philosophical exploration of trends and current events. Rabbi Shaul and Levi take on topics that need more discussion from a human, moral and balanced perspective. Topics within spirituality, mental health and the law, life and culture of Judaism. Our vision is to create a space of honest and open discussion in Judaism, spirituality, and wellbeing. Agendaless, informal conversations – no holds barred. We keep it fresh, every time a new topic and often with great guests.
- Our website, Tikun.co.uk, contains many videos, audio classes, blogs, books for purchase and more.
- We host mental health seminars at our premises, based on Innate Health and the 3 Principles, focusing on improving one's relationships, parenting, weathering the hard times and general wellbeing.
