LIVE URGENT UPDATE, TUESDAY MARCH 1 5:30am UKRAINE
Live from Rebbetzin Bald:
Lviv-Lemberg Ukraine is close to the Polish border. So people are coming from all over Ukraine to Lviv to escape to borders.
For many local Yidden it's a holocaust number 2
People are coming and going the whole time. Over a 1000 Shomer Shabbos Yiden travelled on Shabbos escaping! Adults came to shul crying! They left everything and ran for there lives with nothing with them. They left their homes, businesses that they built for 30 years. They travelled to Lviv for 2-3 days instead of 7-8 hours! No food! They came to our shul warmed up ate a hot meal we gave them food to take with for 2 days and ran further to borders! Most people didn't even want to sleep over by us just wanted to take food and run!
Hospitals schools, kindergartens where bombed! People have such trauma! Hashem Yerachem! There wasn't such a thing since the holocaust!
The scary part is where should all these refugees go after they get over the border? Also many people can't leave because they have elderly parents and grandparents that are immobile and can't leave. Hashem should watch everyone! Right now we have by the Polish border children and mothers from our community that are there already for 3 days waiting to get out and no one knows what will be next!
Burglars are braking into homes of people that escaped and robbing everything! There are many more things i can't write for safety reasons. But this is a little of what's going on!
As of now there are sirens in Lviv just on Shabbos there where 8 sirens and everyone was told to hide, that mean a rocket was flying over Lviv (there isn't really where to hide, no bomb shelters) but so far Baruch Hashem there where no bombs in the city itself! So everyone thought it's the safe haven! Today regular people are running around Lviv with guns and rifles untamed people that don't have a licence! That's very scary! We don't know what will be tomorrow and the panic is not normal, even the sky became greyer!
PEOPLE ARE SUFERING AND WE NEED TO HELP THEM!
We feel the Achdus of the Yidden around the world how much they care about us, I know some people give money they don't have and it's extremely helpful! Your saving lives! PLEASE CONTINUE DAVENING AND HELPING! THE YIDDEN IN UKRAINE NEED YOU!
Hashem should watch everyone!

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
We’re all in pain & anguish about the situation of our fellow Jews all over Ukraine. While bombs are raining down on our country, here in Lviv, refugees are fleeing in the thousands, looking for food, shelter, and security.
Our Shul is packed with multitudes of families, begging for assistance, housing, nourishment, and warm clothing.
Lviv is situated on the Western side of Ukraine, making our city the destination of all communities on the run.
We need to prepare thousands of portions of food around the clock, pay security guards, and provide shelter & heat.
We will need in the next few days, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for equipment, medical assistance, food & rental apartments.
THIS EMERGENCY SITUATION NEVER HAPPENED SINCE WORLD WAR 2. WE CALL UPON ALL OUR BROTHERS & SISTERS, WHO CARE FOR EVERY JEW, TO OPEN YOUR HEARTS, & SAVE OUR UKRAINIAN YIDDEN.
PLEASE GIVE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN, AND ASK & ENCOURAGE YOUR FRIENDS TO HELP AS WELL. EVERY BIT OF HELP WE RECEIVE, WILL SAVE LIVES.
IT’S PIKUACH NEFESH!
Please keep us in mind in your prayers, which is desperately needed!
May Hashem bless us all with peace,
Warm greetings,
Rabbi Mordechai Shlomo & Rebbetzin Sara Bald
